Blog Fest 09!

Posted in misc. stuff, sports, stupid people on August 21, 2009 by tinyalien

You may see the title to this post and wonder what Blog Fest 09 is. You may also see the title and not care at all what it means or just assume the title holds no importance at all. Well to end your couriosity, or lack there of, I will inform you on what Blog Fest 09 is and if it holds any importance at all. Blog Fest 09 is a small group of one, me, that puts out many blogs, three, in a short amount of time. So basically, what I’m saying is that Blog Fest 09 has been going on for about a week and a half now. These past three blogs I have posted are Blog Fest 09. That is all it is. I was just excited that I am back to a semi-regular blogging pattern. You people aren’t excited for me? No? That just sucks ass and takes the fun out of Blog Fest 09. You people are kill joys; every single one of you.

Ending the intro and moving on to the beef of the post – beef of the post meaning the actual point of my typing. I am now a senior in high school. I have been in school two days, and I have realized something very important about the year to come. My classes are going to be super easy. The only three challenging classes I have are English 12, government, and college algebra. However, I enjoy government and love English, so in all reality I only have one class that I will not enjoy, college algebra. To make the year even better, college algebra isn’t really that hard. That really means quite a bit coming from a man who almost failed pre-calculus. The other classes are all easy breasy. I believe I have a guitar/piano class, journalism, photography, and video productions. Therefore, I should enjoy my senior year, hopefully. In conclusion to this paragraph, I would like to apologize for any readers who may have found it boring. I am sorry, but I needed a topic to talk about and this made a decently sized paragraph. So, I would not be at all offended if you skimmed your way through this. I thank you for you cooperation.

Finishing with the happy reading and moving on to the ranting. Every year I come back to high school I am reminded of how stupid the majority of students are. During the summer you tend to forget how annoying and frustrating these imbecils are. This forgetfulness makes perfect sense, because normal people do not like to think of other annoying and frustrating people. Anyway, I walk into my first day school. What do I see? I see the same shit I have been seeing the last three years. The snobby girls who think they shit roses, the douche bag jocks who’s majority of conversation revolves around sports and pussy, and the egotistical troublemakers who don’t know what the hell egotistical means. The first two groups are not even close to as bothersome as the last one. They may be snobby or douche bags but at the least they have some, not reasonable, tolerable excuses. The snobby girls are usually financially well off and have heard mommy and daddy tell them they are the cutest and smartest girl ever. Therefore, you can’t blame them for thinking that way. The parents are to blame. They confuse them into thinking that everyone feels they are cute and smart while in reality only they, the parents, feel that way. The douche bag jocks, at my school, are not stupid by any means. They just have a skewed view on what life is all about. They are under the common impression that high school is all about getting laid and sports, an impression I hate. That still is only mildly annoying in comparison with the egotistical troublemakers. These people are just so (fill in any explicit adjective of your choice). What is so glorifying about being an alcoholic and petty thief? I really don’t understand this way of thinking. Why would any one want to brag about how drunk they have been or what items they have stolen? I don’t know. This whole idea really is beyond me. If I was not subjected to this behavior everyday, then I would just ignore it and be happy. Unfortunately, I am subjected to it, and I will have to deal with it accordingly – by accordingly I mean that I will do my best to ignore it and occasionally sigh or scoff at them. I deal with these minor issues in a very simple way; it makes my life much easier.

To my frustration, I have to admit that I did not hit the thousand words mark – barely missed it. That is upsetting; it truly is a tragedy. I did; however, stay away from the rant of my previous two posts as I promised. Although, I’m sure I could have manufactured up another post to argue my point. As I said though, there is no point in argueing my point. I do want to make one statement concerning your blog though, Cody. You had a very small paragraph dedicated to your gloating on winning the arguement, how great you are, etc. etc. I just wanted to inform you that I am obviously greater than you, because I crowned you the winner. Therefore, I have more power for I am able to hand out awards that you have to work to achieve. You entertain people just to impress me. I have to say that this makes me smile. I would just like to say, “dance monkey dance.” Finally, I can end this post. I was typing like mad just so I could type “dance monkey dance” at the end of my post, and it felt as good as I thought it would. I will be back to give you people something pointless to read in due time.

Video Pick: Super Mario Chalmers

Posted in sports, video on April 9, 2008 by tinyalien

Oh yes, it feels awesome. Like I said in my previous post, I turned 16 on Sunday and got a car. Well, the car and my Jayhawks getting a championship has to be the greatest birthday presents ever. Ok, the only thing that could possibly top that would be if I had tickets to the game. I am still completely satisfied. Thank you Kansas University!

Now about the game itself. This was the greatest game I have ever watched. It was so fast-paced and intense. I thought I was going to cry when they were up nine with two minutes left in the game. All these dreadful memories of a certain team, named Syracuse, came washing into my brain and giving me a horrible headache. I don’t think I could have taken another championship loss. All I have ever wanted was KU winning it all during my childhood. Well, thanks to some bad free throw shooting and Super Mario Chalmers, my worries and my head ache were all in vain. When Mario Chalmers hit the shot to put it into overtime I freaked the hell out. I could watch that shot an infinite amount of times and never get bored. That shot put so much confidence in me that I believed that there was no way possible we could lose. The fact that it was the 20th anniversary of Danny Manning and the Miracles just made it all the more great. It couldn’t have been any better. I was so pumped that I couldn’t fall asleep.

Random Happenings

Well the 6th of April would be my 16th bithday so that is something to look forward to, I guess. I’ve never been big on birthdays. I usually just treat my birthday as a normal day. I plan on just going to my grandparent’s and eating a fuck-load of ribs and potato salad…ahhh yeah! My birthday present is the traditional car. I got lucky to tell the truth. About a week before my older brother’s 16th my parents were looking for a new car for my dad. Well my dad, being the coolest father he is, decided to just go ahead and give it to my brother; This, of course, guaranteed me one. The cool part is that I actually got to pick my car. I chose a white 04′ Chrystler Sebring.

In other news, KU rocks my fuckin socks off. I have to be honest, I wasn’t sure they would be able to win against NC. Although, this just brings back some horrible memories of that national championship of 2002-03. Damn you Syracuse, damn you to hell! I think we match up well with Memphis. I think it will come down to whoever is in better shape. I can’t wait to watch that game. It will be so up-tempo and exciting.

KU @ K-State (Shit!!!)

Posted in sports on January 31, 2008 by tinyalien

Well shit, my beloved Jayhawks just fucked up one of the greatest streaks…the greatest streak in college basktball history. 25 years of domination ended. We worried way too much about Beasley. We would sink in to the lane and they would kick it out for a three. They would not miss. Also, everytime they made a three, Rush thought he had to shoot one too so he would just throw up some shit. I thought the refs were pro-K-State but I guess I’m biased anyway. Oh, well it isn’t that bad of a loss. I think the loss came at a good time and it will probably be better for us in the end, but why did it have to be against K-State. Now I have to listen to all the Wildcat faithfulls. I hope they enjoy it…it only took them 25 years to do it.

I Apologize…

…for the lack of posts. I know I have a lot of fans out there who are dissapointed…Jamaal. So I just wanted to say I am sorry everyone…Jamaal. Anyways I moved into a new house, the reason for the lack of posts, and I like it a lot. I don’t have internet because the damned cable guy is a complete and utter douche bag and is taking his damn time moving our internet over. In other news Herm is stupid, KU lost :( , KU bball won, and my bball season started. Thanksgiving was kinda just whatever. At the family Thanksgiving there were a shit ton of people there. My family is huge and loud as all hell. I just sat with Jamaal and jammed to my media player. Thank God for MP3s and AVIs because without them I would be a lost cause. We had like 35 people crammed in this not so large house. Three of them weren’t even my damn family, my cousin just decided to bring his girlfriend and two foreign exchange students. All the students did was try and figure out our complex yankee board games…fuckin Americans. Took some pictures on the ride home though (see Jamaal’s blog).

Huard Should…

Posted in sports on November 5, 2007 by tinyalien

…Be kicked in the balls by every chiefs fan that is living in this world. He is horrible. I went to the KC game with my cousin, dad, brother, aunt, and friend. Larry did good but got hurt, apparently it’s his ankle. Our safeties struggled a lot but our D-line was impressive as usual. Damon Huard was horrible, he threw, I think, three interceptions and the last one was the worst pass ever. He had time and he threw it right at the numbers of a Packer LB, there wasn’t even a Chief near by. I was going to take pictures but forgot my camera. My cousin had his though so I decided to take pictures with his but he forgot his memory card lol. So there is no pictures of the game. The coolest part of the game was probably when Larry scored and took the KC flag, waved it, and stabbed it in the ground. It was pretty cool looking. The seats were better than last year too, except we were sitting by A LOT of Packer fans. It was still a good game and I had fun so it was a good day.

Football Season Is Over…

Posted in sports on October 28, 2007 by tinyalien

…Yes Uniontown High School’s annoying and losing season has finally come to an end. We ended it by losing 39-7 to our league’s powerhouse team. They are a private school and have a huge like 52 player roster. We had like 27 players. Anyways all that isn’t important, what is important is that basketball season is coming. So what am I going to do to celebrate the coming of basketball? Simple, I am going to run my ass off. We didn’t run very much at all during football season and last year’s first week of basketball practice was like 3 hours of running. So during the two week break I am going to be hitting the gym and the track to get in shape. That way when practice starts I won’t have to stick around 30 minutes after, trying to catch my damn breath. After the first week of practice basketball season is going to be awesome. I have improved my game a lot in the last year so I’m pumped. My goal is to suit up for Varsity and start Junior Varsity. I think I will get the first easy, but the latter is gonna take some work. Anyways I just thought I would share my excitement for basketball season.

KU & KC Tickets!

ku_kc.jpg

This year I am going to a KC Chiefs game and a KU Jayhawks game (basketball). This will be the third year in a row I go to a KC game, thanks to my overly generous cousin. I have never been to a KU game at Allen Fieldhouse though. I’ve been to Kemper Arena but from what I hear, Allen Fieldhouse is a ton better. I am a HUGE Jayhawk fan so I can’t wait. I have to thank Cody for those tickets, he got the hook ups from his cousin I think. Anyways I am psyched for both games. I am gonna take my camera to hopefully both. If I do in fact get some pictures taken then I will make sure and put them on here. Chiefs are playing the Packers and KU is playing Yale. KU should win easily, but Oral Roberts is always in the back of my mind lol. Damn Oral Roberts.

Football’s Fun…When You Do Good

Posted in misc. stuff, sports on September 26, 2007 by tinyalien

Last night I had a Junior Varsity game at Jayhawk-Linn and I actually did good. I had a lot of assisted tackles and an interception in the end zone to keep us ahead at the end of the half. I almost ran back the interception but I ran out of gas; I think that was the fastest I have ever ran. I ran about 50 yards and had one kid to get around but I he pushed me out of bounds. If I would have cut inside it would have been a touchdown but I wasn’t thinking, just running. Anyways it was a whole lot more fun yesterday than it ever was when I wasn’t doing shit. I think I just had a bad attitude about it because they substituted another safety every other series and I am much better than him. Last night they let me play defense the whole game though, and I finally got to hit someone which made the game a lot better.

Today I didn’t do anything but school, practice, and eat a whole fuck-load of pizza. It was pizza Tuesday at the gas station, so you get a buy one get one free deal. I got a medium pizza all for me and only for five bucks. I ate way to much. Now I think I am gonna listen to music and do homework. Algebra is so much fun.

We Won!

Posted in gadgets, misc. stuff, sports on September 22, 2007 by tinyalien

Yes, our football team finally won a game. Last night was the first league game of the season and we stomped them. We played Jayhawk-Linn. The final score was 28-0. It didn’t really matter very much for me. Since I am on JV, I didn’t get to play but it is still good to win.

Today I am going to Olathe, with a friend, to look at the track I helped build over the summer and to hang out. My boss/my friend’s dad said he thought the track looks like one of the best in Southeast Kansas. This trip will give me some more time with my Archos so I’m all for it.

Tomorrow I am going to my grandparent’s for my grandpa’s birthday. That will be fun and once again it will be a chance to play with my Archos. Maybe after this weekend I’ll actually have something to post about since I’m actually doing something. We can only hope.
