I Got Me A Wirless Router…

…Finally. I have been waiting for my mom to buy me one for what seems like forever. I got a Lynksys and it works great for my computer so far. I couldn’t get it to work on my brother’s computer for some reason. I couldn’t figure it out. Hopefully I can get some help and we will get it working. It feels so good to get on the internet in my room. I can finally listen to music without my parents bitching or having uncomfortable headphones on. Now all I need to get is the wireless adapter for my 360. I’m not in too much of a rush to go get it considering it is way overpriced. I also bought a rollie chair lol. My room is finally starting to look how I want it to look.

New Stuff!

Yesterday I got my Noreve case for my Archos 604 Wifi and it is cool as all hell. It is 5 million billion trillion times better than the case the media player comes with. You couldn’t even see the screen if you used the original case. With my new one it has an open slot for the screen, every button, and for all the ports. I like it a lot. I also made a deal with my cousin that goes as follows: I was going to buy The Man Who Never Missed (greatest book ever) off eBay but if I did that then I wouldn’t have enough for my case, so he suggested he buy The Man Who Never Missed and I get his old copy. That worked for me. As long as I got a copy, I was happy. So now I have the greatest book ever and a cool ass case for my media player. New stuff is awesome.

  

We Won!

Yes, our football team finally won a game. Last night was the first league game of the season and we stomped them. We played Jayhawk-Linn. The final score was 28-0. It didn’t really matter very much for me. Since I am on JV, I didn’t get to play but it is still good to win. 

Today I am going to Olathe, with a friend, to look at the track I helped build over the summer and to hang out. My boss/my friend’s dad said he thought the track looks like one of the best in Southeast Kansas. This trip will give me some more time with my Archos so I’m all for it.

Tomorrow I am going to my grandparent’s for my grandpa’s birthday. That will be fun and once again it will be a chance to play with my Archos. Maybe after this weekend I’ll actually have something to post about since I’m actually doing something. We can only hope.

Got My Media Player!

I got my Archos today and it is awesome. I was happy as hell. I have all my music on there already and we tried out some videos on it also. The videos look so pretty on it. The only complaint so far is that it seems to take forever to charge the battery. I have been charging it for a good 4 hours atleast and I only have 3 out of 6 bars. That is only minor though, because I am planning on buying the DVR adapter soon. The adapter charges the battery faster, turns my media player into a DVR, and can be plugged into my stereo so I can listen to music/watch videos/watch a slideshow using my media player. I can’t wait to show it off to friends and, of course, the ladies. 

Other than that my day was pretty laidback. Went to my cousin’s with my brother and a friend. Just listened to music and played NBA 2k7. My cousin and I decided to go for the achievments. I went for Kobe’s achievment, which consited of scoring 81 points with Kobe; My cousin went for Kirelinko’s, which consited of getting a 5×5. I got my 81 early in the 4th so I decided to go for the 100 points achievment. I get 99 points with 16 seconds left in the game. I get the ball and drive into the lane to slam it down. My cousin, sour because he didn’t get his achievment, decides to actually guard me tight instead of letting me just get my achievment. Well anyway, as I was saying, I drive into the basket and was about to slam it down when my cousin jumps and blocks my dunk. I was pissed like no other. They all found it funny and I did after I cooled off a little. Anyways it was overall a good and fun day.

I haven’t posted since Thursday night because I had to go to the football game Friday night. Ya know, because I’m on the team. Well, I guess you wouldn’t notice I was on the team since I didn’t play. We lost 14-8. We should have won but we don’t have a line and then the line that we don’t have got tired. I don’t think we will do good this year but oh well. I don’t care much for football. I love me some basketball though; which is another reason why it sucks to be me, because everyone at my school loves football and doesn’t care about basketball. Everyone gets pissy about a bad football season but could give a shit about how good we do in basketball.

The reason why I didn’t post yesterday was because I was at a friends hows for the night. It was boring in every since of the word. He (my friend) had his girlfriend over for a movie night. Now thats all fine and dandy but I don’t have a girlfriend so I got to watch a movie that I didn’t want to watch with Cody, his girlfriend, and a fat bitch that I hate with a passion. We watched Disturbia, ya know the one with that faggot Shiloh Labuef or however you spell his damn name. I hate Shiloh Labuef for some reason; he isn’t a terrible actor but something about him annoys the shit out of me. Disturbia isn’t a bad movie but I had Taxi Driver over there and I really wanted to watch that. Well that idea got shot down because Cody’s girlfriend didn’t want to watch an “old movie”. 

P.S.   I decided on buying the Archos 604 with Wifi. I won’t be able to order it until Tuesday due to Labor Day. I can’t wait to get it though. I hate when I decide to buy shit online because, whenever I come to the realization that I am actually gonna have something soon, I want it immediatly.

I need help deciding so Cube, if you read this, what should I buy? I decided to get one but I don’t know which one I want. The 80 gigs on the $280 one sounds great but I don’t know if I need it. The wireless internet sounds great on the $250 one but it is only 30 gigs and what if I need more. I don’t want to chuck up another 30 bucks for space I won’t use but then again I don’t want to run out of space. I need help. If anyone reads this besides Cube (which I doubt will happen 100%) then please help me out.
