I didn’t do much today because I was sick (obviously). I woke up with a sore throat and an upset stomack so I didn’t go to school. The day was very boring. I mostly sat around the house doing absolutely nothing.
I read some Civil War comics, which was some good reading. I didn’t read very much and I haven’t gotten very far. I’m actually not sure what side I am on yet. I mean they make good points on both ends of the argument. It would be natural for people to blame all superheroes for a few superheroes mistakes. I mean isn’t that what people have been doing to each other since the begining of time? So I can understand why non-super humans would feel much more comfortable knowing who exactly is protecting them and that the superheroe is well trained to control his powers. Then again you have the other side saying that they shouldn’t have to reveal their identity and get a license to be good people. That argument has some good points also. For example, they want to proctect their family and close friends. I mean sure cops have family and close friends that could get hurt, but cops aren’t going to be as well known as superheroes. Plus why is everbody bitching anyway? If it wasn’t for superheroes then there wouldn’t be a world for stupid superheroes to fuck up. Anyways that is why I haven’t picked a side. I’m sorry for the overwhelming amount of nerdy material in that last paragraph.
Also watched the commentary for Chasing Amy. It was ok. I found myself ignoring the commentary and watching the actual movie a lot. The commentary strayed off topic a lot but that was expected because it was Kevin Smith. It was still pretty funny though.
